Issue Date: 2021

Abstract:
The design of sit-in exams in higher education is not suitable in the COVID-19 era. Hence, the content of the exam questions requires the know-what and know-how subject matter, including critical thinking and self-discipline (Handayani, 2020; Handayani, Costa, Awang, Hussein, & Ahmad, 2020). COVID-19 era requires distance and online learning to be practised as default due to students’ need to follow the Movement Control Order (MCO). Due to the new situation, an online open-book test was introduced, particularly for the Travel and Tours Management (HTS20103) course. The number of participating students in this course were 175 for Semester September, Session 2020/2021.
