Abstract: 
Smartphone’s usage among university students has been widely use nowadays and
the knowledge of capability of smartphone towards students’ academic performance
in Malaysia is started to become dangerous because of its addiction. For this research, the purpose of this study is to determine if smartphone has effects students’ academic performance in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) City Campus and to examine the relationship between time spend, time management, health and usage of internet on students’ academic performance. It is also to examine the impact of time spend, time management, health and usage of internet on students’ academic performance. This research has adopted quantitative methodology and data have been collected from a total of 255 respondent from UMK City Campus students. Data have been analysed by using SPSS version 25 to analyse the data collection in order to carry out the descriptive, reliability, correlation and regression analysis. The research findings has revealed that the using of smartphone have not given massive impact on students’ academic performance. This study also revealed that health only, is the independent variable that was not significant while the others independent variable are significant. For further study, this research has a huge potential to improve and gain new set of data to ensure whether smartphone have effect on students’ academic performance positively and it has shown that this research have probability to extend the knowledge of the impact of using smartphone on students’ academic performance.
