dc.description.abstractRumput napier merupakan sejenis rumput yang bersaiz besar dan keras dan dikatakan berasal dari India. Nama saintifik bagi rumput ini ialah pennisctum purpureum. Rumput jenis ini biasanya digunakan sebagai makanan ternakan seperti lembu, kambing dan sebagainya. Ia digunakan dalam bentuk mentah atau dalam bentuk silaj iaitu diperam lebih kurang satu bulan dengan menggunakan campuran gula merah dan mikrob efektif untuk membolehkan ianya disimpan lebih lama.en_US
