Abstract: 
Technology plays a pivotal role in improving recycling processes, from advanced sorting and separation techniques to innovative recycling materials. These advancements not only enhance resource conservation but also contribute to a greener and more circular economy. The global research trend on technology and recycling has been steadily growing as societies worldwide recognize the importance of sustainable waste management. Researchers are focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies to optimize recycling processes, reduce environmental impacts, and promote a circular economy, fostering a more sustainable future for our planet. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of 1476 publications indexed in Scopus, aiming to elucidate trends in technology and recycling research. The findings reveal a lack of discernible trends concerning the convergence of technology and recycling. China leads in publication on technology and recycling among 82 countries around the world. While offering a comprehensive overview of the research landscape, this study sheds light on the intricate relationships and collaborations within the field, providing insights into influential authors and organizations. Notably, the paper titled “Chemical treatment technologies for wastewater recycling—An overview” holds the distinction of being the most frequently cited within the study’s subject area. Additionally, the Journal of Cleaner Production stands out as the most widely referenced source. These results underscore the significance and importance of pivotal research contributions in the technology and recycling domain. Among the plethora of keywords analyzed, “recycling,” “recycling technology,” and “electronic waste” emerge as the most commonly used, further emphasizing their centrality in the field
