This study intends to look at the variables that influence how often residents in rural area in using electronic payments. This study’s goal is to discover the connections between e-payment usage among rural arears and performance expectations, effort expectations, social influence, and enabling circumstances. The researcher uses a quantitative approach to gather data. This study included 282 participants from a rural area in Sarawak, who had used electronic payments before. Data for this study will be analysed using the programme Statistical Package for the Social Science (IBM SPSS version 26). According to the findings, there is no statistically significant correlation between electronic payments and factors that facilitate performance, effort, or social impact. The independent and dependent variables are analysed using Pearson Correlation. The researcher was able to find the explanation and justification for this non-significant study in order to draw a conclusion from the correlational results. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.en_US
