Abstract:
The implementation of healthcare waqf is significant to enhance the social welfare of societies by confirming that all groups of society can get proper healthcare services. Aims: This study aims to identify the socio-demographic of healthcare waqf donors and their association with faith and attitude influences. Methodology: Data from a total of 189 participants from the government servants who have experience in contributing to healthcare waqf were cross-sectionally collected. Descriptive statistics were applied to describe the socio-demographic patterns of waqf donors and the most significant healthcare waqf contribution factors. Meanwhile, Fisher’s exact test was applied to identify the association between demographics, attitudes, and faith. Findings: This study found all the demographic variables were significantly associated with the attitude influence on healthcare waqf contribution. Based on the influence of faith on healthcare waqf contributions, only variables occupation has no significant association (P > 0.05). Conclusion: Waqf institutions can use this study’s result to construct proper marketing plans to enhance the healthcare waqf program, especially among government servants.
