Abstract:
This study investigates how adopting fintech in banks influences environmental performance, specifically focusing on employee efficiency and green initiatives such as green finance and green technology. A survey method was used to gather primary data for this research, targeting a purposive sample of 258 banking employees from private banks. The partial least square technique was used for comprehensive data analysis. The results indicate that adopting fintech significantly influences employee efficiency, green finance, and green technology, ultimately contributing to the environmental performance of banks. The research illustrates how technology-driven financial practices can help achieve larger environmental sustainability goals in the banking industry by promoting the link between fintech integration, green finance, and technology advancement. This study provides useful insights for stakeholders directing the intersection of finance, technology, and environmental responsibility
