Abstract: 
Dr. Muhammad Akmal Remli directs AIBIG at UMK, focusing on AI and Big Data. He's a senior lecturer with a background in Computer Science. His research covers AI, data science, business intelligence, and computational systems biology, resulting in Scopus and Web of Science-indexed papers. Currently, he's developing transformer model-based algorithms for stock price predictions, earning a Ministry of Higher Education FRGS grant.

Dr. Akmal collaborates globally, serving as a visiting research fellow at CRIDE LTD, UK. His recent AI projects include generative AI in Bioinformatics, with grants from YPASM for polar AI research and MyTIGER for a joint Malaysia-France program on generative AI in genomics data. These projects showcase his impactful contributions to AI research at AIBIG.
