Abstract: 
Most workplaces nowadays tend to follow the traditional rigid design of common offices, and along with lack of research on the impact of workplace design on personnel’s well-being. The rigid design of a workplace can lead to stress and poor space management. Designer have lack awareness on the impact of workplace design on personnel’s well-being. Hence, this study aims to investigate the impact of workplace design that include furniture, lighting and colour on employee well-being. The arrangement or composition of diverse design elements in workplace is important for the personnel’s well-being. This study employed a mixed method research design specifically concurrent mixed method strategy were used. In-depth interviews, questionnaires and observation were used for data collection. Data from in-depth interview, questionnaire and observation then were triangulated to obtained the conclusion for this study. After gathering data from questionnaires and interviews, the result showed that design choices and elements in the workplace does indeed affect the well-being and productivity of the workforce.
