Many causes lead to stress such as workload, study, family pressure and being too busy in their daily lives. Aromatherapy oil that can be found in the market are commonly extracted from lavender, lemon, eucalyptus, chamomile and bergamot. The oil is used as an alternative medicine that commonly used in therapies. However, aromatherapy oil in the market are the pure essential oil that still needs to be diffused using diffuser and used as air inhalation aromatherapy. Aromatherapy affects through the scent produced by the essential oil that being extracted from plant (Jimbo et al., 2010). It has been used widely in medicinal industry to help people who faced stress-related disorders through relaxation and stress relief (LisBalchin,1997). Not only helps in stress disorders, aromatherapy also plays important role in depression, anxiety, insomnia and also chronic pain (Perry & Perry, 2006). |
