The Rebana Kercing of Kampung Laut performing art is complete with its costumes and accessories. Just like other traditional performing arts, the dancers and musicians of Rebana Kercing will have to don attractive costumes with designated accessories. While there could be specific symbolism to each part of the costumes, the primary purpose of donning the costumes is to make the performance more attractive to the audience. The costumes have seen changes as time passes by, as innovations to the costumes are attempted to make the performances more eye-catching to the spectators.en_US
