dc.description.abstractPsychological well-being encompasses both positive and negative feelings, such as frustration, disappointment, and loss, which are all-natural parts of life. Meanwhile, emotional intelligence helps an individual success in their life, maintain healthy relationship with family and friend. This study aims to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being among Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) students. The components of emotional intelligence are self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management. There were 375 respondents participated in this study. This study focused on the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological well-being among students in UPSI. The results of the research data were obtained from 375 respondents from UPSI. Data analysis was conducted by using SPSS. The finding has indicated a relationship between the component of emotional intelligence and psychological well-being with a p-value less than 0.001. The results show that the relationship between component of emotional intelligence and psychological well-being are significant. Based on the research finding, it is found that all research objectives were supported and all of hypothesis were accepted. The researchers have also proposed a few recommendations related to the study.en_US
