Abstract: 
Folklore means stories that were creatively produced by the Malay community in the past. Folklore spread through word of mouth for the purpose of entertainment and education to the community. The delivery method is a two-way communication between the comforter and the local community. Therefore, this study discusses the importance of folklore to the community through the practice of values. This study focuses on the objective of identifying and analyzing the values contained in Folklore in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. In addition, this research method uses a qualitative approach involving field library methods in the form of interviews and text analysis. In addition, the analysis of this study applies the principle of audience relationship with works and folklore in Kota Bharu, Kelantan to the identified values. Finally, the findings of the study found that the two-way communication used proved to be able to explain the relationship between folklore and society through values.
