dc.description.abstractFolklore is a creative work presented by the ancient Malay community, especially the villagers and farmers to be used as entertainment and education to the local community. There are a handful of modern society who consider folk literature to be something foreign and considered purely imaginary. This study aims to identify and analyze the elements of positive values in folklore in Kelantan as a didactic medium for the rural group. The application of the principle of Takmilah is the relationship between the audience and the work in some folklore obtained from lara entertainers in Kelantan. In addition, this study uses a qualitative approach involving field literature methods in the form of interviews and research analysis. As a result, Kelantan folklore has a wealth of positive values that have the potential to be used as a didactic medium for the rural community.en_US
