dc.description.abstractThis Spanish textbook is written as a guide for students to understand the basics of Spanish Language and to enable them to acquire the language whilst communicating outside the classroom or interacting with friends who can speak the language. It is designed to guide learners in learning the basic communication skills needed for daily conversations. This book is developed based on the syllabus / CEFR framework. The book contains five (5) chapters covering Level 1 of the Spanish syllabus. Every chapter consists of grammar structure, basic vocabulary, useful greetings and expressions, reading comprehensions as well as communicative activities (práctica and actividad comunicativa). In general, the teaching and learning are focused on topics such as introducing oneself, friends, and family members using simple vocabulary and tenses commonly used in daily conversations. Exercises for revision are also provided in each chapter to assist students to recap what they have learned from the textbook.en_US
