dc.description.abstractTechnology is a crucial factor in starting a business today and it is an important factor for disabled entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship has become one of the preferred fields of employment for disabled people due to a lack of other employment opportunities. However, the existing technology for disabled people is still insufficient to ensure that disabled people remain competitive in the entrepreneurship field. The opportunity for disabled people to be employed is lowered compared to normal people. Disabled people experience lower labor market participation rates than non-disabled. Disabled people are often disadvantaged to handle a complex situation like a business. Due to their disability, they need (e.g., technology/technical assistance) which help them to grow the business. The Smart 3-Wheel Bike was developed to provide better facilities to disabled entrepreneurs that will make business easier for disabled entrepreneurs and vanquish barriers to competitively organizing their business. The methodology employed in this research is based on an evolutionary prototype. The evolutionary prototype is a prototype development methodology that can be fully realized. It uses the same techniques and aids as the needed prototype and will be a real prototype. The objective of this approach is to produce a prototype that works for the end user. Starting with clearly understood user needs, the prototype is built and evaluated until the specifications are met before being implemented as the final prototype. The process of developing a Smart 3-Wheel Bike is based on three phases, the analysis phase, the design and development phase, and finally implementation and evaluation phase. In analysis and evaluation phase two case studies were conducted on needs and acceptance of the prototype. The finding from two case studies conducted indicated that the development of the Smart 3-Wheel Bike for disabled entrepreneurs was able to fulfill the disabled entrepreneurs' needs and people with disabilities accept this technology in running their businesses.en_US
