Abstract: 
Universiti Malaysia Kelantan Jeli campus is growing fastly, where most of the water supply requirements are met by potable water and surface water sources. However, these sources may not be sufficient to fulfil all needs, particularly during dry and any water shortage time. With this background, electrical resistivity imaging (ERI) surveys were carried out in UMK Jeli campus to incur detailed information on groundwater availability as an alternative source at promising sites to fulfill the water demand and avoid water scarcity in future time. As per the existing geological information, the area is mainly composed of weathered granitic rocks. Therefore, the Schlumberger array with sixty-one electrode of 400 meters were choosen for this study and spread over five resistivity survey lines and resitivity data were stored in ABEM Terrameter LS. The average resistivity values of five lines ranges from 10 to 2000 ohm meter (ω.m). This resistivity data were analysed using Res2DINV software to obtain two-dimensional (2D) resistivity profiles. These profiles provided a clear picture of distribution of basement granitic rock and potential groundwater zones by demarcating all the secondary permeable zones. Moreover, the different aspects of the present investigation will explore the new groundwater resources in the study area to cope with existing challenges in future in terms of both quality and quantity.
