dc.description.abstractThought is an operation of the human mind that is generated to fulfil an aspiration, purpose, and goal and answer the questions of life. From the humanitarian aspect, spiritual thinking is a thought that is related to the oneness of God, religion, belief, and nobility that leads to personal prestige. The manifestation of spiritual thought and humanistic values is physically embodied in the form of human morals and civilization. The main objective of this study is to identify and analyze the issues raised through the incidents in the selected story scenes. The narration of the scenes in Makyung's story has been analyzed and used as research content that represents the spiritual issues by using SPB4K Theory. This study was confined with stories like ‘Anak Raja Gondang ',' Eneng Tajali ',' Raja Besar Ho Gading ’and‘Dewa Indera Indera Dewa ’.The researcher uses the elements of spiritual thinking found in SPB4K Theory to analyze the issues and triggered spiritual incidents found in the stories. The researcher uses the elements of spiritual thinking found in SPB4K Theory to analyze the issues and triggers of spiritual events in the stories. This study was analyzed using textual analysis based on the book 'Anak Raja Gondang and Other Makyung Stories'. All issues and triggers of spiritual events in selective Makyung's stories were used as material analysis through the application of SPB4K Theory. Researchers discovered that spiritual thinking was found in Makyung's story, which contains elements of nobility such as monotheism, usuluddin and beneficial jurisprudence. In addition, this study also invites the readers to appreciate the scenes of a Makyung story that is presented and not just focus on the aesthetic art of Makyung performance and dance alone.en_US
