dc.description.abstract | Abstract: The study aims to investigate the environmental awareness from the perspective of gender differences. Specifically, the study examines direct relationships between knowledge and social media usage toward environmental awareness. Also, the study assesses the moderating role of gender on ‘knowledge-environmental awareness’ and ‘social media usage-environmental awareness’ relationships. The convenience sampling technique was utilized with 118 responses were collected. By using PLS-SEM, results revealed that knowledge and social media usage positively influence environmental awareness. Nevertheless, gender presented no significant influence on the existing relationships. Thus, future research is suggested to expand this issue in different perspective. | en_US |
