Abstract:
Open spaces within a hospital area could encourage social interaction between its communities essentially the patients, healthcare workers and visitors. Staying and working in the hospital for a long time will affect the emotional state of a person, well-being, and healing time. However, the hospital building, and its surrounding area might enhance the negative feelings or, conversely, produce feelings of confidence and hope for the recovery processes. Therefore, the innovation of Bamboosa Void Pavilion intentionally maximizes the healing functions of the therapeutic landscape and increase the aesthetic value of the hospital whilst improve the social connection and develop reflective thinking capabilities within the healthcare community.
