Abstract:
IPCA-RGB model is an image algorithm that was developed to improve fertilizer management of rice farming for precise fertilizer application. The algorithm was developed based on specific nutrients needs by rice plants according to their specific growth stages. The algorithm can be integrated with any type of surveillance drone for aerial image acquisition and can be suited with any ordinary RGB camera for aerial mapping procedure. The algorithm has 90% accuracy in determining precise fertilizer during field application at larger scales. Thus, the cost and amount of fertilizer application have successfully reduced up to 60% - 70% of saving.
