Legenda Puteri Saadong is one of the well-known epic stories among people in the state of Kelantan. Filled with various element and notion, this folklore needs to be appreciated especially in its narrative aspect. Although numerous efforts have been made to uplift the narrative of Legenda Puteri Saadong, there is still a gap of knowledge that needs to be accommodated, particularly through the use of Two-Dimensional (2D) game application. Thus, this paper attempts to fill in the gap by developing a 2D game application based on the narrative of Legenda Puteri Saadong through a combination of 5W1H method which is What? Who? Where? When? Why? How? by Rudyard Kipling (1902) and ADDIE, abbreviation for Analysis, Design, Development, Implement, and Evaluate by FSU (1975). Results show that the use of 2D game applications using 5W1H and ADDIE methods significantly contribute to Legenda Puteri Saadong narrative appreciation.en_US
