Abstract:
women’s economic empowerment has become an integral focus for global policies such as Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). Women’s economic empowerment can be described as the ability for women to participate equally in existing markets; to have access and control of productive resources; to decide on their own time, lives, and bodies; to represent their voice confidently without fear; and to participate significantly in economic decision-making at all levels. Women’s empowerment in the financial sector is essential for attaining gender equality and balance.
