dc.description.abstractMalaysian ESL learners are still struggling with their English language proficiency, especially their speaking skills. One of the reasons could be attributed to language anxiety since English is considered a second language in Malaysia. In study conducted by Noor Hashima (2007) that looked into language anxiety among Malaysian undergraduates, it was reported that the majority felt nervous when speaking in the English language and had great difficulty expressing themselves.en_US
