Students nowadays are known as a generation of "All Technology All the Time" and "Born Digital" (Barnes and Noble College, 2015). This definition refers to Generation Z (Gen-Z), born between 1998to 2009 and currently 20-22 years old (Muhammad Modi et al., 2017). According to a study conducted by Barnes and Noble College (2015), Gen-Z's learning preference is online activities through websites, smart devices, etc. While technology is widely used in this era and Gen-Z students prefer tech-based learning, the Arabic language teaching and learning approachesare still in the old notch using Arabic-Malay translation methods and teacher-centred strategies (Abdul Razif et al., 2017).en_US
