Abstract: 
This level 1 Arabic textbook is written as a guide for students taking Arabic language course to understand the foundation of language in enabling them to converse basic Arabic language when communicating outside the classroom and interacting with friends who can speak the language. This book is written based on the Common European Framework Standard (CEFR) syllabus (A1).
It contains FIVE (5) chapters that cover the Arabic Language Level 1 syllabus of UMK. In general, this book focuses on sound production and pronunciation using situations in the Arab country and its culture. Students learn to introduce themselves, friends and family members, also numbers, days, months, years and other conversation activities. This Arabic textbook also contains exercises to enhance memory retention.
