The National PERMATA Program emphasizes the formation of students' character as the main curriculum besides helping to develop children in terms of emotionally, spiritually, socially, and intellectually from early stages of 0-6 months up to 4 years, which encompass 6 modules in every stage. The construction of the module for the program curriculum is also in line with the National Education Philosophy based on the principles of Rukun Negara (National Principles), with reference to the Montessori curriculum, Reggio Emilia curriculum, High Scope curriculum (United States), Early Years Foundation Stages curriculum (United Kingdom), and Te Wariki curriculum (New Zealand). The main objective of this study is to assess the level of academic performance and co-curriculum throughout the first cohort low-level schooling of the PAPN program and compare both levels of performance with students who have never attended the PAPN program. In addition, the objective of this study is to assess the leadership qualities and emotional levels of the first cohort students of the PAPN program. The respondents of the study were selected using the purposive sampling method, which consisted of the first cohort students of the PAPN program and the students who had never attended PAPN in the same school as the respondents, classmates, and class teachers. The location of the study was conducted at 1) The first Permata Nasional Center (PAPN) established in Peninsular Malaysia namely PAPN Mempaga and PAPN Chini (Pahang), PAPN Kepala Batas (Pulau Pinang), PAPN Putrajaya (Wilayah Persekutuan Putrajaya), and PAPN Subang Jaya (Selangor); and 2) low school respondents. The data analysis techniques used in this study were survey methodology collected through documentation and interview data, while academic performance measurement and evaluation through academic performance, co-curriculum performance, leadership qualities and emotional state of the students. The data analysis used in this study was quantitative data using SPSS software to obtain descriptive analysis and differential analysis. The National PERMATA Program is a good program for laying the holistic skills of children, which takes a long time and extended curriculum to ensure the effectiveness of the program. This can also help in ensuring continuous learning to higher levels of low and middle.en_US
