dc.description.abstractThe elderly is defines as those who are in age of 60 years old and above. Since the number of elderlypopulation will grow fast over the next few decades, the demand for nursing home also will increase. As a result of the weakness of the act against elderly in Malaysia, the government is trying to set up a minimum guideline, minimum standard guideline or standard guideline for all services and support the quality of life and quality of care as well for elderly in Malaysia. Nowadays, it is clear to say that the facilities of nursing home development are crucially of the Elderly Care Home quality-improvement can be said as one of the measure that supports the modernization agenda of a country. This study will adopt qualitative approach by using self-administered questionnaire and face-to face interviews as a survey method. The sample of this study will consist of Elderly Care Homes located in Klang Valley which offer nursing care services. Although there is good impact for implementation the physical environment facilities for elderly care home in Malaysia.en_US
